Born on 28 July 1989, he made his debut as a child artist in Bala’s action-drama “Nandha” (2001) in which he portrayed the younger self of the protagonist, Nandha (played by Suriya). He played similar roles in his subsequent movies, “Samasthanam” (2002) and “Sena” (2003). He shot to fame when appeared as an antagonist in Suseenthiran’s criminal drama “Naan Mahaan Alla” (2010).

He won the Best Villain honor at the 2011 Edison Awards while the movie bagged the prizes for best character actor, public relations office and supporting actress.
