“Vettri,” the budding hero is from a non cinema background. Vettri is a Malayali and his original name is Netto Babu. He settled in Bangalore for his job. To enter the film industry and become an actor is the childhood dream of Vettri.

He has acted in the skits and dramas during his school days. While doing his college, he developed an interest in modeling. Before making his debut as a hero, Vettri has played in a lot of character roles. He has played a cameo role in Neethaane En Pon Vasantham directed by Gautham Menon.

His Malayalam debut is in KQ directed by Baiju Johnson.
