V.K. Ramasamy was an Actor, Comedian and Producer in the Tamil film Industry which is a part of the Indian Cinema as a whole. He was born in 1926 at Virudhunagar, Madras State. He was popular for enacting supporting roles with full dedication and attention in his years of activity i.e. from 1950,s to 1980,s. He had made a special place in the Tamil Film Industry for almost half century. He carried his unique style of acting for any character, be it a villain or hero. His Independent style took his career towards fame and recognition. He had a perfect sense of dialogue delivery and the amount of emotions needed for the character. In Tamil movies, V.K Ramasamy’s voice was considered to be his asset.
He created magic with only voice modulation and transmission. He has portrayed every character with excellence, but some of his notable works were Dumm in which he played the role of lead character’s father and made his presence felt. The film was released in 2001 and gained much appreciation, Arunachalam a Tamil drama released in 1997 Sundar C starring Rajnikanth in the lead role. This film got positive reviews from the critics and had won three awards including the Best Film Award, Mannan released in the year 1992 which is a remake of the Kannada film of the year 1986 Anuraga Aralithu which was a big hit, Athisaya Piravi in 1990 is a Tamil film consisting of the fantasy comedy, Unnal Mudiyam Thambi where V.K. Ramasamy played the role of a villain as in the character of Bloody MP, Vileikaran which in English means Servant.
It is a comedy film with a dose of Action in it. This film was released in 1987 it also involved the Bollywood Mega Star
Amitabh Bachchan and many other super duper hits. We lost this talent in the year 2002 on the 24th of December in Chennai. His body was kept for public homage at his residence itself in Chennai.
