Rahul Ravindran

Rahul Ravindran is a Tamil, Telugu and English movie actor. Rahul was born on 23 June 1982 in Chennai. He did his graduation from Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and went on to do Masters in Business Management. Rahul also did the job of Assistant Brand Manager for a leading media company in Mumbai before pursuing his career in acting.

Rahul married a singer, Chinmayi Sripada, whom he met through a mutual friend and started dating in June 2013. Rahul also has a younger brother, Rohit, who is a professional photographer. Rahul got noticed at a dining restaurant in Mumbai, and it was there he was landed his first offer to give an audition for a TV commercial that was to be directed by Dibakar Banerjee and it opened many gates for him to do more commercials.

Amidst this, he was also busy dubbing Power Rangers in Tamil voice. Rahul made his debut with Moscowin Kavery (2010) which boomed at the box office and received him mixed reviews for his performance. However, his next projects Vinmeengal and Soorya Nagaram won him several appraisals. From that time onwards he has moved on to make a career in the Telugu film industry as a leading actor. Andala Rakshasi, Vanakkam Chennai, Pelli Pustakam and Ala Ela are few of his Telugu work.
