Plot
Bhooma Devi visits Hyderabad to pursue her MA degree. Vikram, her college mate, falls in love with her. Soon, Vikram’s behaviour didn’t go well with Bhooma, and he became intolerable. She feels that he will never be compatible with her. She had to lose her people and her peace due to Vikram’s action. What is her next? Will Vikram change his behaviour? The rest of the story follows Bhooma’s decision.
Star Performance
Rashmika has got a solid role, and plays it convincingly. She gels well with the character’s innocence and soft nature. Her expressions and body language are adorable. Deekshit fits well in the role. He matches Rashmika’s intense performance and supports her role well with his performance. Rao Ramesh did justice to the given role, though he appears briefly. Anu Emmanuel does what is required.
Analysis
Rahul Ravindran’s movie may appeal well to a specific segment of the audience, who love watching a metaphorical narrative and not to people who expect perfect reality. His direction is good, but the screenplay should’ve been gripping. The first half moves at a proper pace, and the second half lags. Many sequences are stretched to showcase Bhooma’s inner feelings. The climax should’ve been executed better, and the film ends on a predictable note. Although the performances are good and the stars are well-chosen for their characters, a toxic guy and a completely innocent girl didn’t sync well with reality. Anu Emmanuel’s role should’ve been developed well. A few sequences are slightly repetitive.
