O.A.K. Sundar is a Tamil film actor and the son of the late villain, O.A.K. Thevar. He is the second husband of actress, Anju Prabhakar, of Rukmini fame. In 2004, he essayed the role of Kottaisamy in Kamal Haasan’s action drama film, Virumaandi. In the same year, he played as Jayam Ravi’s coach in M. Raja’s family-drama film, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi. In 2005, O.A.K. also appeared in Durai’s action drama film, Thotti Jaya. He played as Rekha’s (played by Malavika) brother in the 2007 Tamil romantic thriller film, Naan Avan Illai. In 2009, he was seen as Kathirvel in K.
Thambi Durai’s thriller film, Munnar. In 2010, O.A.K. appeared in the box-office bomb film, Thambikku Indha Ooru, which was directed by Badri and played as Osama Bin Laden in A. Venkatesh’ Vaada. In 2013, he was seen in Mano’s drama film, Ragalaipuram. After a gap of few years, he appeared in Ramesh Selvan’s 2014 Tamil film, Thalaivan. The following year, he bagged roles in A. Venkatesh action film, Killadi and Ramesh Selvan’s comedy drama film, Vajram.
He is also part of Mohan Krishna’s crime thriller film, Achaaram. During a hiatus, he bagged few films including Vettrivel Chandrashekar’s Buddhan Yesu Gandhi in 2015 and a movie entitled J. O.A.K. played an interesting role in P. Jayaseelan’s Pallikoodam Pogaamale. He played a supporting role as Kombaiah Pandiyan in Prasath Murugesan’s 2016 action film, Kidaari. Besides acting in the silver screen, O.A.K. also laid his hands on television serials. He played a negative role as Bhishma in the mega serial, Mahabharatham, where he earned several accolades.
