Arnav is an Indian television performer who works in the Tamil dramas. Arnav was born on 27 April 1989 in Aranthangi, Tamil Nadu. His actual name is Amjath Khan, and he has taken Arnav for professional purposes. Arnav is an alma mater of Madras Christian College where he took up MBA course and passed with flying colors. Arnav’s first break came when the makers of Sakthi signed him for the male protagonist. Sakthi tells us the story of a woman endures a troublesome life due to poverty. It is an unofficial remake of Dil Se Di DuaSaubhagyavati Bhava which also highlighted the topic of domestic violence.

Arnav plays Arya who creates problems for his spouse. Sakthi got applauses from the local and international folks for its attempt to raise awareness about the subject. Sri Lankan audiences watch Sakthi in its Sinhalese dubbed version. Reportedly, Arnav garnered a mammoth female fan following over his handsome looks. Although he does not reprise his role of Yugi but plays a similar kind of character who protects a bachelor girl from embarrassing religious practices.

A year later, Arnav agreed to act in Priyasaki which aired on Zee Tamil.Priyasaki is a family drama in which the actor enacts as Anbazhagan aka Anbu. Priyasaki ran for almost a year on the channel. Arnav did make his first but brief Kollywood appearance in the action-thriller ThaniOruvan. In a candid chat, Arnav has preferred to work in the television industry and would act in films if he gets a good deal.

Companies have approached Arnav to be their brand ambassador. He has featured in the commercial for Siva Foods’ Flubber Oats. Arnav is fond of automobiles and regularly uploads the photos of his bike collection on his Facebook and Twitter profile. Arnav has voiced his support forJallikattu, a traditional bull fighting sport during the recent controversy over the ban of Jallikattu. Coimbatore-based Indian Institute of Research and Management, as well as University of Swahili (Kenya), conferred Honorary Doctorate on Arnav for his contribution to the entertainment field.
