Mala Manyan
Mala Manyan is an executive Tamil producer who has worked in different domains of media and production. She proudly possesses a long, inspiring career. She worked as the Chief operating officer of a pioneer channel called Raj Tv for three years from 2010 to 2013 where she was responsible for handling and managing the entire operation of the channel, as far as content is concerned. She has a long list of projects which she has produced.
These include Kodai Kondaattam which was a music and dance event organized over six towns in the year 2011 and 2012., Tanishq Swarna Sangeetham, which was a music reality show for Carnatic music, Rajiniyin Punch Tantra, Pudhhiyadhoar Kavignan Seivom, Voice of a Tamil Nadu. She produced the Women Achiever Awards for three years 2011, 2012 and 2013, The Raj Book of Records, Rohini’s Box Office, Isai Cafe, Beach Girlz, and Gold Casino, which was a game show. She was associated with the Television and film production houses with high reputation and legacy for about twenty-five years till 2010.
She holds experience in domains ranging from office administration to television and film production and has managed all aspects of production. She was the production head for production teams for the movies, Indiraloathil Naa, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Allagappan, Mundhinam Paartheney, being the significant ones. Her experience varies from working at the ground level with technicians and artists to heading and managing entire production teams in and outside India in countries like Malaysia, Durban, Singapore, Johannesburg, etc.
She has anchored numerous television programs for Doordarshan. She has interviewed uncountable celebrities and personalities, her shows applauded and well received by the masses. She dubbed in cartoons and series on television and is a popular host for shows, in Myanmar, Kenya, Macau Islands, South Africa, Bangkok, Hongkong, etc.
She worked as a model for brands like Horlicks, Amrutanjan, and Gold Winner and also featured in a social production by Sakthi Masala Group focussing on women empowerment. Her brainchild first Copy Productions is a company she started from scratch in 2013 and since then produces events, feature films as well as television content.
She uses her experience in different fields to manage and maneuver her company and has successfully executed production of many shows including Women Achiever awards in 2018 and 2017, Inclusion in 2017, etc. A multitalented woman she believes her forte to be achieving event production under given budget and time constraints,
