Ponnuvel Damodaran

Hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Ponnuvel Damodaran is an Indian Film and Video Editor who predominantly worked in the Tamil Film Industry or Kollywood. He finished schooling at the Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School and earned his B. Tech Degree in Visual Communication at The New College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in 2005. He has been very passionate about video and cinematographic editing since a young age. He has served the film industry for over 11 years with his editing skills. He began as a Freelance Video Editor right after college. He also joined Ramarao Studios in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where he worked as an Assistant Video Editor till December 2014.

Aravind and was released in September 2010, the Tamil Romantic Drama film, Pathinaaru, directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy Sabapathy Dakshina Murthy is a film director and w >> Read More... , and was released on 28th January 2011, the Romantic Comedy film, Kanna Laddu Thinna Asaiya, directed by KS Manikandan, and was released on 13th January 2013, the Romantic Drama film, JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, directed by Cheran, and was released on 6th March 2015 in Tamil and later on 24th June 2016 in Telugu, and the Drama film, Thirumanam, directed by Cheran, and was released on 1st March 2019. Ponnuvel later joined as an editor for C2H, founded by renowned Director Cheran. He has also edited a Kannada feature film.
