Gokul Chandran is a well-known Indian editor, animator, and animation director in the film industry. He was born in Kerela, India. He has done his schooling at Infant Jesus Anglo Indian High School. He did his graduation from ICAT, Chennai, India. He has industry knowledge in video editing, animation, color grading, sound design, cinematography, and creative direction. Gokul has worked as a VFX animator in the companies like Lorven Studious (Feb 2012 – May 2014) in Chennai and Prime Focus Limited (May 2013 – Mar 2015) in Mumbai. He has also worked as an assistant editor in Dreamwarriors production (Aug 2016 – Nov 2017) and as Film Editor in Bayview Projects Reliance media works (Mar 2019 – Aug 2020).
He also worked at Reliance MediaWorks Limited, and Pixion, Gokul has worked notably in the movies Nerkonda Parvai (2019) and Valimai (2022) as a film editor;
