Dj Sid Rao

Dj Sid Rao ( Siddharth Rao) is Kollywood, Indian Dj, born on 28th December and based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He's a former Indian Snooker Champion and has played for India many times by his nickname “Skiddyrow”. Siddharth has a great taste in electrical music and makes everyone groove on his beats, he mainly makes Kollywood retro remixes and has performed in the known clubs like “Raddison Blu,” “Brasa” etc.

He has mastered the art of techno and deep beats with an eye for experimental music; Sid is an avid composer. His vision is to make extempore blends to make the soundtracks more bewitching. He started gaining popularity at the starting of the year 2012, when Chennai Clubs welcomed the new musical beats. Some people loved the exquisite blends, and some were more into EDM.

Siddarth opened with Tech House on a well known event show at B Bar, Chennai, featuring Dion Mavath (Dj Mag’s top 100 Djs) , who played electro house sounds. Since the hit night he had been a constant performer at B Bar, with the new Z2 mixer back in 2013, he made a sensational event in the house. Deejay started his own monthly podcasts, “Tech Ten,” with his favorite tracks on 21 August 2013. In the year 2017, Bacardi presented “Mixtape” featuring Sid Rao on the retro 90s beats.

Chennai’s hippest new bar- Brasa at Radisson Blu hosted retro house spinning featuring the iconic Deejay Sid in the year 2019. Rao practices his hobbies like gaming, gadget enthusiast, he loves to eat and is an all-time food lover. He has a love for good alcohol and often wanders into the finest bars and cafes. Sid is into sports and football, and cricket are few of his favorites. He's married and has a beautiful daughter. The only DJ who made the old 90s back in tune with the young crowd, the knack he holds, has assuredly made a place in the 21st century.
