Suresh Krissna is a South Indian movie director; he has directed many Tamil, Telugu movies and has also worked in Bollywood. Suresh Krissna was born on 29th June 1959 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is a director with a total number of 36 movies. In 1989 he won the Nandi Award for Best Director for his movie Prema. Suresh Krissna was born in Mumbai and is the son of R. Krishan and K. Sharada.
His mother tongue is Tamil. Suresh Krissna went to Chembur, Bombay for his schooling and later attended the University of Bombay where he pursued Bachelor in Communication (B.com). After graduating Suresh Krissna went to the Natya Academy, Bombay to study Dramatic Arts. He is married to Chandra Suresh; he has three siblings, two brothers, Sreeram, Satheesh and a sister Shanthi Krishna.
His journey started as a back-stage manager and as an assistant director for many plays which he did under the famous director K.R Parmeshwar. The theatre he was a part of involved many languages like Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Sindi, and Tamil. Later he also worked at Prasad Productions Pvt. Ltd in Mumbai. Suresh first Independent directorial film was Sathya which was a remake of the Hindi movie Arjun; the movie came out in 1988.
Suresh Krissna became famous after he worked with Rajnikanth in the 1992 movie Annamalai.
