Sri Ganesh is a film scriptwriter as well as a director who works in the Indian film industry. A majority of his projects predominantly belong to the Tamil movie industry. He directed the movie called 8 Thottakkal which released in the year 2017. The film starred actors such as Vetri,
as well as M. S. Bhaskar and Nassar in the central roles. Ganesh also wrote the script for 8 Thottakkal. He is also associated with the film by the name 8mm Bullet which released in 2018. He was the writer of the story of the project. Since his childhood days, Sri Ganesh possessed a strong inclination towards theatre and dramatics. He began his journey by assisting
and troupe while they performed stage shows and plays. He assisted Crazy Mohan was while Ganesh was still in college.
By the time he completed graduation from college, Ganesh was head deep into the world of acting and cinema and convinced of pursuing a carer in the same. Ganesh watched the film Nandalala, which was by Mysskin in the theatre over and over again even though the film did not garner much attention or appreciation from the masses in general. He made up his mind to become Mysskin’s assistant, even after knowing that Mysskin was a very impatient man. Soon Ganesh made contact enough to be able to meet Mysskin in person and presented his wish to assist him. Soon Ganesh began working with Mysskin on the movie Onaayum Aatukuttiyum. Ganesh strongly follows the path of telling a story in a disciplined fashion irrespective of the scale of the movie.
He also has strong faith in the power of word of mouth. It is these principles that made him choose a story like the one of 8 Thottakal as his debut script. He has a keen interest in crime fiction and mystery thrillers. The movie 8 Thottakal followed the journey of a policeman who loses his gun and how the man who finds his pistol sells it, and this begins a killing spree. 8 Thottakal received positive reviews from the critics. He will soon collaborate with Atharvaa for his next directorial venture. An official announcement is awaited. Even after achieving success at his first shot at being a director, Ganesh is not very keen about directing more movies and prefers working on projects as a writer.
