A T Krishnaswamy was an Indian-origin director and producer who gave us several meaningful and mindful movies. In 1905, he was born in India. He joined the film industry as an assistant director in the 1930s. He debuted in the industry with the film Sabapathy in 1941. Sabapathy became one of his biggest hits, and he made several other films too like Vidyapathi, Manam Oru Kurangu, Arivaali, etc. But his days in the spotlight were concise. After working a few years in the industry, he moved out of the limelight. And, his last days were spent in obscurity. He took his last breath in 1987. In 1941, he directed Sabapathy along with A.V. Meiyappan. P. Sambandha and Mudaliar wrote the storyline for the film, and A.V. Meiyappan produced the film.

He had to pass his Matriculation exams, but because of his distracted mind, he couldn't do it. His parents eventually became tired of him and thought of marrying him off to an intelligent girl. So that she can help him get his focus back, and it'll also help him be a responsible man. The guy also has an uneducated servant. They go to his wife's place to have a good time and live together freely. And that's how his parent's plan failed to get him focused after marriage. They talked with his wife, and finally, she convinced him to study.

So, that he can pass the exams and they can go to college together. His servant also falls in love with his wife's maid. And eventually, he also becomes a knowledgeable guy because of his wife's support. In the end, they agreed that the woman in their life is responsible for their success. In 1946, he directed the film Vidyapathi. G. Mani-C. Sundaram produced the movie, and it starred T.R. Ramachandran and T. Premavathi. P. Ramasami managed the cinematography department, and T.R. Gopu edited the film. Adeppalli Rama Rao composed the music for the film. The movie is based on the novel Vidyasagar by K. Doraiswami Iyengar. In 1971, he directed the film Arutperunjothi. T.S. Balachandran produced the film, and it starred Master Sridhar A.P, Nagarajan K.A, Thangavelu M, Saroja, Devaki T.S., and Balaiah.
