In 1959, Surya Prakasa Rao Nukarapu was born into an agricultural family in the small village of Appannapet in the Andhra Pradesh state's West Godavari District. RAO supported his family through farming and other related activities while attending the village school with his seven brothers. He had limited options for furthering his education and learning new skills in the village. For his primary education, Rao walked 7 kilometers to the nearby town of Tadepalligudem. The family did not have the convenience of residing in the city because they must work in the fields to support themselves.
The family's status got raised when Rao's father quickly attained the position of Sarpanch. After completing his higher education, Rao married Padmaja in 1985. Grishma, Tejaswani, and Lavanya, the couple's three lovely daughters, were born into the world. An Indian film producer named Nukarapu Surya Prakasa Rao worked in the Tamil film industry.
