Yamini Yagnamurthy is a renowned Indian cinematographer working in the South Indian and Hindi film and TV industry. She is an expert in food and fashion. She did her graduation in Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication in Chennai. She has remained an assistant to the legendary P. C. Sreeram for several years, which gave her valuable learnings in her journey. She has worked in multiple language domains, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Her exquisite pieces of art in the form of cinematography include ‘Raghu Thatha’ which was released in 2021, ‘Saani Kayidham’ in 2022, FLIP in 2019, and ‘Sillukarupati’ in 2019. She has been a member of the South Indian Cinematographer’s Association and takes active participation in all the events. Her expertise lies in portrait photography and she uses the limited-edition Cooke Panchro/I Classic FF lenses capturing scenes in a vintage setting.
