P.chelladurai is an Indian cinematographer who has done several Malayalam and Tamil movies. He was born in Sangarankovil in Tamil Nadu on 7th June 1967. He started his journey in the Tamil movie industry as a cinematographer with the movie ‘Nagaram Marupakkam,’ which was released on 19th November 2010, directed by Sundar C, starring
and Vadivelu in the lead roles. This film brought him to the limelight, and he signed many films like Ambasamuthiram Ambani, Onbadhule Guru (2013), Guru Sukkran (2015), Poyi Maranju Parayathe (2016), and Thiruttu Payale 2 (2017).
Before he made his debut as a cinematographer, he worked as an assistant cinematographer in many movies like Nayak: The Real Hero (2001), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002), Khakee (2004), and Sivaji (2007). He also worked as the first assistant camera in the camera and electrical department in the movie ‘
’ in 2015, directed by Chimbudeven.
His talent and his work got him chances in the Malayalam film industry. Also, his skills made Malayali producers impressed, and they offered him to crank the camera in Malayalam movies. Some of his Mollywood works include

His work was not only limited to movies; he also got to shoot commercial Ad films for Saravana Stores, Pothys, Raj TV, Fast Track Call Taxi, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, and Sathya Home Appliances. Film-making was always his passion and had his unique style to visualize things but working with leading directors in Kollywood like Shankar, Sundar C & KV Anand on various projects helped him more to embrace his skills and to gain a better understanding of the cinematic language.
