Jayanth Mathavan is an Indian Director, Cinematographer, and Photographer. He was born in the state of Tamil Nadu. Jayanth Mathavan completed his schooling at Stanes Higher Secondary. After that, he enrolled in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where he received his degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering. Jayanth Mathavan was interested in films and decided to study Cinema at the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute in Kolkata. When he was done studying, Jayanth Mathavan worked for AOL, which is a news and media website, before becoming a freelance cinematographer.
His debut in the film industry came with the movie ‘Revelations' which was released in 2016. As a cinematographer, Jayanth Mathavan has worked on multiple other films, including 'Aao Khelein Safai Safai' (2016), 'Manicure' (2017), '
