George C. Williams is a cinematographer, who is born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Williams’ occupation is of a photographer in the films and he has worked in the Tamil film industry. Williams was inspired by many famous cinematographer’s works and started to move the camera in different angles by which he can show his photography skills. He had framed many films in the Tamil language while often following the works of famous cinematographers like ‘P.C. Sreeram’, ‘Santhosh Sivan’ and ‘ Jeeva’.

He was inspired since his school days and followed their style by practicing in various angles with the cam. He was educated in Madras Christian College where he pursued a Visual Communications degree and learned more about cinematographic works. George had entered into the cinema industry with the help of his family friend Kalyan; his first work in the film industry was of an assistant director for ‘ Nirav Shah’ who is a cinematographer. His first filmography work was of a cameraman for the movie ‘ Billa’ in 2007 and later for ‘Sarvam’ in the Tamil language which had released in the year 2009.

In 2011, George and Arjun Jena had worked together for the film ‘ Ala Modalaindi’. In 2012 he had processed for the music album Yuvvh in which he had shown his photographic skills by editing the video “Nenjodu Cherthu”. It was directed by ‘Putharen’, and that filmography editing had received an enormous response from the Malayalam audience. Later in 2013, George had signed the agreement to take the cinematographic works for the film ‘ Raja Rani’ which as directed by ‘Atlee’, and this movie had got a mammoth response from the audience.

His latest cinematographic works were in the year 2014 for the cinema ‘ Kaththi’ which had released in the Tamil language. In 2016 his filmography works were ‘ Naanum Rowdydhaan’, ‘ Theri’, and Sidharth Siva’s film.’ The latest film is ‘Thanna Serndha Kootam’ in the Tamil language which will be releasing on 21st July 2017. George had shown his best editing skills and cinematographic works with enhanced works from one film to another movie. He showed his complete passion in the cinema editing and making the movie more entertaining by his cinematographic works through different angles. Mr. Manoj Pradhan worked as a cinematographer in his debut film called 'Shorgul' released on 24th June 2016 directed by Jitendra Tiwari. The motion picture was produced by Swatantra Vijay Singh & Swatantra Vijay Singh. It was beautifully written by Jitendra Tiwari, Shashi Verma, Raj Verma, and Khalid Azmi. It starred actors like Jimmy Shergill, Suha Gezen, Narendra Jha, Sanjay Suri, and Ashutosh Rana. The story was written by none other than Jitendra Tiwari. His first movie as a cinematographer was Potta Potti which released in the year 2011. The film was of comedy type and the theme revolved around sports. It was a super-natural horror thriller film where a pizza delivery boy goes to an address to deliver a pizza, but the horror incidents that take place there changes his beliefs about super-natural powers. The movie got good reviews and was a box-office hit and remade in many languages. Gopi Amarnath got an appreciation for his good work. He got nominated as the Best Cinematographer for the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards. He got two awards for the films which were Vikatan Award for the Best Cinematographer and 7th Vijay Award for Best Cinematographer as well. He kept on moving ahead reaching this milestone and soon will reach many others. Gopi Amarnath then worked on the movie ‘Something Something’ which released in the year 2013. This movie was a romantic comedy and was shot in Tamil and Telugu languages at the same time with different actors. The plot revolves around a boy who is very shy of girls and falls for a girl and takes tips from a love guru to woo his girl. His next movie was ‘Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru’ which released in the year 2013. In 2014, he worked in ‘Irumbu Kuthirai’. In 2015, he worked in three films which were ‘Aambala’, Enakkul Oruvan, and ‘Yatchan’. His recent movies which released in the year 2016 were ‘Pencil’ and ‘Mayavan’, both of which were thrillers, and he got praised by everyone for his work.
