Pritham K Chakravarthy is an Indian actress, translator, and theatre actor. Pritham started acting in Sabha Nadagam at a young age. She joined the Gnani’s drama troupe. She launched her play Nirvana in 2001 after being a playwriter for about two decades. It is about the surgical transformation of transexual and transgender people. This play got selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2001. Pritham worked in the films Framed (2007), Ilai (2013) and Psycho (2020). Pritham is an acting professor at Ramanaidu Film School in Hyderabad. Pritham was a former communist activist. She has been working against the misrepresentation of women in cinema for a long age.
