Madhuri Devi is a veteran Tamil film actress from the late 1940s. She was born in 1927 in Royapuram, in Madras, Tamil Nadu. In her early days, she acted in many Christian dramas. Madhuri entered the Tamil film industry with the film Ambikapathy in 1937. She also worked in “Pandurangan” film in 1938. In her filming career, Madhuri Devi paired with many leading stars of the Tamil industry. Some of them were M.K.
