Shihan Hussaini is a famous Tamil actor, taekwondo and archery expert. He was born on 28 December 1964 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He made his acting debut in 1986 with the drama Punnagai Mannan, starring Kamal Hassan. In 1987, he worked in Velaikaran, starring Rajnikanth. He made his Hollywood debut with Bloodstone (1988). His other films include Unnai Solli Kutramillai (1990), Vedan (1993), My India. In 2001, he got the role of fitness coach in Badri. In 2022, he starred in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Hussaini has a great admiration for late politician Jayaram Jayalalitha. 2016, he established an archery institute, the Archery Association, in Tamil Nadu. It is the only archery body acknowledged by the Tamil Nadu Olympic Association. He has hosted a show called Athiradi Samayal.
