Girish Madhu was born on September 10th, 1992 and is from Thousand Lights, Chennai (Tamil Nadu). He is an Indian filmmaker, actor, and entrepreneur. He began his journey in the filmmaking industry by pursuing acting in various films and TV advertisements. After five years of dedication to film studies, he debuted as a self-educated Actor/Director at twenty-three years old in his first film titled Uruvan, a Kollywood Tamil movie. The team released the film in 2015, and Girish Madhu played the role of Vikram Prabakaran in addition to writing and directing the film. Uruvan was released on YouTube on October 4th, 2015 and was the first-ever zombie movie made in South India.
The film was showcased again and uploaded on YouTube on March 27th, 2022. Girish Madhu is also known for his active role as the promos designer for the hit movie Money Hai Toh Honey Hai (2008). In addition to his work in acting and direction, he has also been an editor in films like Raakh: A Poem Masked in Blood (2007), Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar!! (2000), and more! He is also the founder of G-Pix, a wedding photography service based out of Chennai and has provided its services for over ten years.
