Prabha Ajannur is a Mollyood writer. He was born in Ajjanur in the cargo district. He completed his schooling at Udaya Nagar High School in Ajannur. He did his college studies at the Nehru Arts and Science College Padannakkad. He published Uttam, a monthly magazine during his college days with the help of some well-known writers, he became the editor of X-ray Evening and Daily News. Prabha was a member of the editorial board of the Casar Complete History. The history of a journal many of his articles were published in reputed publications. He has prepared scripts based on Chamundi, Thidambu dance, Poorakkali, Shaliya Porattu, Theyyam, etc., for Doordarshan, he is a script-writer and Kali TV’s first serial titled Kunal puff was his work.
He researched and collected information for Kika Viral on the Darshan and also wrote the script for the engine program in The Victor channel. He has written and directed documentaries for Victor’s channel and Kudumbashree he regularly publishes agricultural articles. He wrote and directed documentaries about panchayat and is now the PRD director and a grade panel member he worked as a scriptwriter, resource person and researcher for several Doordarshan programs for Onam, Sabrimala, and programs about the poet Rafiq Ahmed and Padmashree Parassala Poonamma number. He has also written several short stories and the Bala Krishna Mangat award for his short stories. He lives in Thiruvananthapuram with his family.
