was a famous Malayalam writer known for his contributions to the literary world. He was born on August 26; in the Kollam district of Kerala, India. After completing his education, Mohan Kumar started his career as a teacher. However, his passion for writing soon led him to become a full-time writer. He debuted in the world of literature with the novel "Sahacharitham Moonnu" in 1984, which received critical acclaim and established him as a talented writer. Throughout his career, Mohan Kumar wrote more than 20 novels, several short stories, and essays.
Some of his most notable works include "Nireeswarante Lokam," "Njan Gandharvan," "Kavilamma," "Aarachar," and "Amma Ariyan." Mohankumar received several awards and honors for his contributions to Malayalam literature, including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Vayalar Award, and Padmarajan Award. K.V. Mohankumar passed away on July 5; 2021, at the age of 68, leaving behind a rich legacy in the world of literature.
