Kadavanad Kuttikrishnan was born on 10 October 1925 in Kadavanad Village near Ponnani, Kerala. He was a Malayalam language poet. He was also a journalist from Kerala State, South India. His parents were Arumukhan and Devaki. He has done his education at Puthuponnani Mappila Elementary School, Ponnani BEM School, and A.V. Highschool. He then worked in Grain Purchasing Office and Premier Hosiery Works in Kozhikode. He also worked in Pourasakthi and Janavani newspapers before joining the Hind newspaper as an assistant editor. He later worked in Mathrubhumi and Malayala Manorama.
He was a patron of the famous Ponnani Kendra Kala Samithi, a socio-cultural union based in Ponnani, along with V.T. Bhattathiripad, Edasseri Govindan Nair, Uroob, and N. Damodaran. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for his poetry work ‘ Suprabhatham Suprabhatham is an early morning magazine entertai >> Read More... ’ in the year 1978. He was married and his wife’s name was Yasoda. In 1983, he retired as an assistant editor from Malayala Manorama. Later, he served as a member of the editorial committee of Bhashaposhini magazine. He died on 19 August 1992.
