Diya Sana is a Casting Coordinator, Social Activist, and Voice-Over Artist. Her real name is Sajna Shajahan. She was born in 1992 in Kerala. Her hometown is Chennai, India. She has graduated from RLV College of Music and Fine Arts, Kerala. Singing and dancing are her hobbies. She started working as a social activist at a young age. She made efforts for the LGBT community and got appreciation. She is a transgender activist and co-founder of the 'Pennorumbettal' forum, based in Kochi. She works as a casting coordinator at a casting agency. She debuted in the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam season 1. Because of this show, she has received massive popularity in the South and proved that she is doing good for society.
