Pratheeksha G Pradeep

Pratheeksha G Pradeep is a small screen actress who works primarily in Malayalam film and television industry. She is known for her work in various serials such as Meenakshi in Amma, Awasthy in Pranayam, etc. She has also been a part of  Amma Manasam Amma Manasam is a daily Malayalam TV serial broadc >> Read More... and Manjurukum kalam and is presently acting in the serial Chaavara Achan.

Many people know her by her serial names than Pratheeksha, and that indeed is a great achievement for any actor as it proves that you are regularly watched and loved by the people. Thus she is enjoying a successful career. Pratheeksha was born in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. She is the daughter of Mr. Pradeep, a designer working for the L&T company in Bangalore. Her mother is a housewife, and she is the only one who goes along with her to the sets.

She also has an elder brother, Pranav, who works in Ernakulum in a private company. Pratheeksha is a graduate of business administration. She went to St. Thomas College in Kozhenchery. She had desired to become an actress since childhood and hence had started learning and practicing in that field along with studies. She was in school when she got her first offer.

She had gone to the sets of Munch star Singer to see the program where Sajan Surya Sajan Surya is a very popular Malayalam serial act >> Read More... and his team interviewed her, and after a few days, she got her first offer to do a negative role in the serial Amma. She has worked in four serials and is highly appreciated and loved by viewers. Her latest one is Chaavara Achan, a historical series aired on Flowers TV. She has her hands full with offers of more TV shows and films too. Pratheeksha received a special jury award for her performance in the serial Amma.

Directed by Adithyan and produced under the banner of Sree Saran creations, Amma was telecast on the Asianet channel. She played the role of Meenakshi, who is portrayed as a very jealous and cruel girl who created problems between a mother and her son.
