Lavanya Nair

Lavanya Nair is a Malayalam serial actress. She is known for her acting in  Avalude Katha (Her Story) on Surya TV and Avakshigal, also on Surya TV. Avakshigal was her first serial and she acted in it from its premiere in 2011 to its completion in 2013. Based on a play written by writer Vaikom Muhammed Basheer, the serial was a mega hit. It is about a familial dispute over property. At the time of its release, Avakshigal’s main audience was drawn by the presence of veteran Mollywood actors Madhu and Ambika. Lavanya played a positive role and her religiously faithful character was noted favourably by audiences.

After the end of Avakshigal, Lavanya acted in Avalude Katha (Her Story), which was also aired on Surya TV. Lavanya’s parents are Raveendran Nair and Usha. Raveendran worked at Kerala Water Authority as an engineer. Her brother, Ullas Nair, is an actor. In 2014, she married RajeevNair. The couple has a daughter, Malavika. In 2015, Lavanya Nair played in the Mazhavil Manorama series Manjurukum Kalam as Rathnamma. In 2018, she was seen in Brahmanam, a Mazhavil Manorama series, as Anita. In 2020, she played the role of Arundhathi Varma in Mazhavil Manorama’s Namam Japikkuna Veedu.
