Nanda J Devan

Nanda J. Devan is a singer, songwriter, playback singer and a musician in the Malayalam entertainment industry. She started her musical journey at the age of three when she began learning Carnatic music. She often talks about the support she got from her father who also has a keen interest in music. At the young age of six, she sang in the movie ‘ Rajadhiraja Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ starring Mammootty whose music was composed by Berny-Ignatius, a well renowned music director duo of the Malayalam film industry. She later ended up joining one of their famous bands. At the age of 16, she went on to compete in ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, one of the biggest musical reality shows in India broadcasting on Zee Keralam channel.

Some of her famous works are ‘Oru Swapnam Pole’ in the movie ‘Love Action Drama, ‘Kanne Kanne’ in ‘ Shylock Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and ‘Adipoli Dhamakka’ in ‘Dhamakka.’ She has a family of four consisting of her mother, father and a brother. Her father is a civil engineer and owns a construction company whereas her mother is a teacher by profession and works as an administration manager. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She is also a law student. She is trained under her Guru, Lekha R. Nair for more than 6 years.
