Disha Prakash

Disha Prakash is a Malayalam singer from Dubai. Her native is Vadakkencherry, Kerala. She sang the Carnatic song Singaravelane Deva from the Tamil film Konjum Salangai, crooned by the legendary “S Janaki” and won the hearts. She also used the musical instrument Kazoo while singing the song. Disha is active on Instagram and posts her cover versions of movies and classical songs. She has performed in various stages as a classical vocalist, including the Spring Music Festival named Udyanotsav in Chennai.

Disha started learning Carnatic music when she was four. Vidhushi Ranjani and Gayatri are her Gurus. Disha has also learned Hindustani music from Ajith Subramanian. While in Dubai, she won 16 gold medals for her excellence in Carnatic music. Disha was honoured with the title Sangeet Samrat by Vibgyor Events, as she won numerous gold medals. She was the winner of Suno FM Dubai’s music reality show. Disha also bagged the title of a reality show hosted by Malayalee Music Club, Dubai. She holds a senior diploma from Prayag Sangeeta Samiti in Hindustani Music. She has sung a lot of album songs.
