Thoppilthodi Raheem Shamsudheen

Thoppilthodi Raheem Shamsudheen is a Malayalam movie producer, a technophile, and an educationist. He is recognized for co-producing the blockbuster movie ‘ Queen Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 2018. Shamsudheen went to Navodaya Vidyalaya in Thrissur and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.tech.) from Chennai. While pursuing under graduation, he developed an interest in Entrepreneurship. At a very young age, he set up his first project – an internet café in Bangalore. In 2009 he laid the foundation for the Malabar College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) in Thrissur, in Kerala. He later on also founded the Cochin College of Engineering and Technology.

He served as the chairman of the board of both colleges and sold his share later on. His contribution to the fields of education and technology has been immense over the years. He has invested in several tech-based start-ups. His efforts were rewarded with the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2015), Young Entrepreneur Award 2016, and Edupreneur Award 2017 by Microtec Educational Consultants. He started his own production house named ‘Shams Films’. The movies 1983, Queen, and Kaanekkaane were produced under his banner. He is also serves as the member of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce, The Indus Entrepreneur, and the Kerala Chamber Of Commerce and Industry.
