G P Vijaya Kumar, born in Kerala, India, is a producer who works for the Mollywood film industry under Seven Arts International Ltd. He has produced around thirty films since 1984. His unique work made the people more thrilled, and now, he is the president of the Kerala film chamber. We can see his brilliant artwork in famous movies like Hero, Geethanjali. He talked about the changing taste of the people in the film industry during a virtual ‘In conversation’ session. This session was held at the 51st international film festival, Goa. He said OTT platforms are just making the film industry lucrative.
They are the source of making money with the small movies and shows, but they can’t replace the theatres. During this covid19 phase, people are missing more theatre films. Mr. Vijaya Kumar focused on films made by professionals as this is the only way for success. He is concerned about the producers the industry has and said we required more for victory.
