Manoj George is an Indian Violinist and music composer whose euphonies have swayed the world. The Keralite musician has performed an outstanding compositions for over three thousand concerts and composed music mainly for Malayalam and Kannada films, documentaries, and advertisements. He is the first Indian violinist recognized by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Science, The Grammys, United States. He is also the first Malayali to have received this honor. The musician is known to have performed as a conductor, string arranger, solo violinist, and choral arranger for two albums, namely- “Winds of Shamshera,” which won Grammys in 2015 for New Age Album and Divine Tides in 2022.
Well-versed in Indian classical music and Western music, he is known for experimenting with bringing the aroma of music from different parts of the world into Indian music. His revolutionary style and imaginative ideas have earned him many awards and accolades besides fame and respect. He was honored with Hollywood Music in Media Award in 2020 and was bestowed with a silver medal from the Global Music Awards. He is elected as the Brand Ambassador for Roland – Japan, Cantini Electric violins- Italy, and Stentor Violins-UK. The noteworthy musician is also known for his generous charitable work, where he also spends his time on charity activities and fundraising. He is the patron of the charitable organization- Little Flower Charitable society which aims to elevate the life of the poor.
