Meera Nandan also known as Meera Nandakumar is a Malayalam TV actress who mostly hosts television shows in Malayalam language and also appears and features in South Indian Movies including Malayalam movies. Meera Nandan was born as Meera Nandakumar on November 26, 1990, to parents Nandakumar and Maya in Kochi, Kerala, India. Meera did her schooling from Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir in Elamakkara and did her graduation in English Literature from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam and she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Presidency College, Bangalore. Another famous and noted Malayalam actress
is a relative of Meera. During her college days, Meera Nandan got offers for modelling and was first seen in the advertisement for Mohanlal’s Taste buds. In the year 2007, she got the opportunity to anchor Idea Star Singer on Asianet TV which won her accolades and she was noticed. Simultaneously, she also anchored TV shows which were telecast on Amritha TV and Jeevan TV. Meera made her debut in the Malayalam movies with Lal Jose’s Mulla, in Tamil movie industry with the movie Valmiki and in the Telugu film industry with Jai Bolo Telengana in the year 2011 all of them were successful at the box office. Meanwhile, Meera got a marriage proposal from a noted Tamil film director but she politely rejected the proposal on the context for her not being ready for marriage and wanting to set and concentrating on her acting career. She won Kerala state awards for playing the second lead in the TV serial Veedu. Currently Meera is shooting for the Telugu film- 4th degree, for the Malayalam films- Kattum Mazahayum, Apothecary and Ennu Swantham Elinjikkavu PO and the Tamil film Sandamarutham.
