Shivaji

Shivaji is an Indian Malayalam actor who is most famous for his Malayalam films during the 1980s and 1990s. He always portrayed the bad guy in his movies. Shivaji was born on 12th May 1957 at Pattambi. He was the fourth child of Kamalam Varasyar and Dr. A K Warrier. He got married to Jayashree and had a daughter Unnimaya. Shivaji has done more than 100 movies. He first appeared on the big screen in Kaaliyamarddanam in the year 1982. His performance in the movie was so promising that he was immediately offered a role in Enikkum Oru Divasam, in which he played the role of Salim.

In 1985, he appeared in the movie Nayakan produced by Dr. Balakrishna and directed by Balu Kriyath. Shivaji never got to play the lead role in any movie. He always appeared in brief roles. He did a bunch of movies in the 1980s which include Kaanan Kothichu, Swargam, Ilanjippookkal and many more. He delivers a world class performance in Vachanam. Though he mostly appeared in a negative role but, he also did some comedy work. Shivaji played the role of Frederik Cheriyan, in a Malayalam comedy film Mimics Parade in the year 1991.

He has done a lot of movies with the Malayalam superstar Mammootty. In 1992, he appeared against Mammootty, in Mahanagaram. Not just movies, Shivaji has also done some television work. He did some notable role in Malayalam TV drama series.
