BR Prasad

BR Prasad is a well-known lyricist of the Malayalam cinema. He had written lyrics for a lot of Malayalam movie songs. Born in the village called Mankombu of Kuttanadu in Kerala, B R Prasad is a multi-talented celebrity who has completed his BA Literature in Malayalam. B R Prasad has written many librettos for the Kathakali dance. In the year 1993, B R Prasad scripted the movie Johny, which won Kerala State Film Award for Best Film. In the year 2001, B R Prasad had played a role, Narayanan in the film Theerthadanam starred by Jayaram and Suhasini Maniratnam.

B R Prasad wrote all the songs for the 2003 Mohanlal film Kilichundan Mampazham which had music composed by Vidyasagar. B R Prasad worked with Illayaraja in the film, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star which is yet to be released.
