Renjith Kuzhur

Renjith Kuzhur is a film editor and filmmaker who lived in Kuzhur, a small village in the southern end of Thrissur district, Kerala, India. He has worked on several Malayalam and Tamil movies, namely Kalki (2013), Kapila (2014), 18 Feet (2015), Echoes (2015), Ka Bodyscapes (2016), The Bookshelf (2016), Santhana Gopala (2018), Chewing Gum Click to look into! >> Read More... (2019), and Balloons (2023). He has prominently worked on movies that fall under the "Drama" genre. Apart from being a movie editor, he has also worked as a Cinematographer for the film "18 Feet". Renjith Kuzhur did his schooling at Government High School, followed by his graduation from St.Theresa’s College, Mala, Kerala. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute to further his passion for film editing.

After graduating from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, he worked as an assistant editor on several Malayalam and Tamil films, namely " Narasimham Click to look into! >> Read More... " (2002) and "Kaakha Kaakha" (2003). He made his debut as a film editor with the Malayalam film "18 Feet" (2015). The film was a ground-breaking movie, and Kuzhur's editing was praised for its deviousness and persuasiveness. He followed up "18 Feet" with the Tamil film Kalki (2019), which also gave Kuzhur a breakthrough in his career. He is a talented editor with an eye for aesthetics and captivating visuals.
