Vinu Kolichla is a talented filmmaker and director from the Malayalam film industry. He is from Kasaragod, Kerala. His other name is Vinu A.K. His directional debut film is Bilathikuzhal. This film premiered at the premiere in Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2018. The film was highly appreciated and later selected for various awards. The film was selected for the NFDC Film Bazaar Industry Screening 2018, Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018 Artist's Cinema Section, and the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) 2018. The film received a Special Jury Mention – FFSI K R Mohanan Award at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) 2018 and the John Abraham Award for Best Malayalam Cinema (2018) from the Federation of Film Societies of India. Vinu has also made the films Pixelia (2018) and Sarcas Sirca 2020 (2021).
