Nithin Renji Panicker Malayalam Actor

Nithin Renji Panicker

Born in Chengannur, Kerala, Nithin Renji Panicker is a director and screenwriter who mostly associates himself with the Malayalam film industry in the South of India. His is the son of the famous screenwriter and actor named, Renji Panicker (father) and Aneta Miriam Thomas (mother), who is a psychologist by profession, also having a twin brother named, Nikhil Renji Panicker. Nithin Panicker is a graduate from “Sri Atmananda Memorial School”, Kerala. Eventually, the entire family shifted to Cochin, Kerala. Initially, Nithin Panicker used to assist his father in the filmmaking, and he did it for numerous years, in several projects, namely, “The King and the Commissioner”, “Madirashi”, “Simhaasanam”, “Raudram”, and “Bharathchandran IPS”, until one day, he decided to delve personally into the direction field himself. In the year 2015, it was announced that he was going to start filming an action-packed movie, starring the celebrated Malayalam stars, Mammootty and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, which would be quite different in style than what his father usually directs. Nithin himself has constructed the script of this project. This film is titled, “Kasaba” and made a huge uproar in the media in regards to the comedy aspect with memes and trolls being fired by the fans and the active Netizens, as soon as the trailer was launched. However, Nithin took it all positively, in a spirited way, saying that such mocking trolls didn’t affect him much because it has helped his directorial debut fairly a lot with the promotional facet of the movie. He promised that “Kasaba” wasn’t your typical police-action movie (even though Mammootty has played the role of a cop a number of times in plentiful movies), but quite poles apart.
