Sanil Kalathil is an eminent director and screenplay writer working in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Changanacherry, Kerala. Sanil completed his high school education from SB high school Changanacherry. He has worked in movies like Radio Madhav and Uthara. He has also worked in many ad films. Sanil made his television debut in 1993 with Unni which was an adaption of Madhavikutti’s Story On The Wheels. This documentary film captured attention nationwide and Sanil received appreciation for his work. Later his debut film Uthara which was released in 2003 was appreciated worldwide and was screened in many film festivals.
