Nirmal Sahadev

Nirmal Sahadev is a talented, young Indian-American Film Director, actor, and a screenwriter. He is a part of the Malayalam Film Industry. Since 2012, Nirmal has enthralled the industry with his exceptional writing and commendable acting skills. This creative and passionate person was born in Thrithala, Pakkad ,and has been a former student of the Abu Dhabi Indian School. Sahadev is an interdisciplinary student who has completed his master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. Later he entered the Film Industry with new and innovative ideas.

He has also been a graduate of the New York Film Academy and has received a degree in Film Making from that University. Nirmal Sahadev stared with his endeavor in the Film Industry with a short film titled ‘Sleep’ released in the year 2012. It stars Kevin Cussicanqui and Annie Gaarder. He has proven himself to be an outstanding Director, creative assistant director and chief associate director, and a skilled actor.

‘Monsoon Mangoes’( released in the year 2016), and ‘Colours’(released in the year 2009) are some intriguing films in which Sahadev has worked. He was also a screenwriter for the same movie. The movie stars talented actors like Nirvana Pauly and Trisha has received positive feedback from the critics.

It had been presented with the award of Best Costume Designer as well as the Best Choreographer at the 48th Kerala State Film Awards. With such creative and successful films, Sahadev’s contribution to the Malayalam Film Industry has been immense and impossible to ignore.
