Ajith M. Gopinath is a creative Malayalam director and actor. He is from Thiruvananthapuram Taluk, Kerala, India, and has been in the television industry since 1997 with Asianet Communications. Before that, he engaged in theater and visual media for over 30 years. He was a theater trainer at Asianet Communications and former head of operations at Rosebowl Channel. He has acted in 60 plays in lead roles.
Ajith M. Gopinath received his Masters (M.A. Theatre) at the University of Pondicherry and the School of Drama, Calicut University. He played several roles in the television industry, including director, actor, producer, editor, presenter, schedule manager, and director of the Tamil feature film ‘Ninaivodu Kalanthuvidu.’ He won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Documentary 1999 for Asianet Communications Ltd.
