Sivaram Mony

Sivaram Mony is an Indian Feature Film director. He particularly works in the Malayalam and Tamil Cinema. Mony was born and bought up in Kerela. He went to GRD College, Coimbatore, and acquitted his degree in Visual Communication, that too, with a gold medal. He is one of the successful directors and editors in the Malayalam and Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with the movie Matchbox.

Mony has won several awards and appreciation from the filmmakers. He started as a short filmmaker in the year 2006. Some of his short films are Scope (2016), My Hero (2016), Unheard (2011), Pillow Talk (2015), Culprit (2007), and a lot more. He is a former director at Therefore we media. Other than being a director, Mony is also a Non-linear FCP editor. In 2017, he got married to his college love Vanathi Kathir.

He makes several documentary films for various NGOs and the Govt. of Kerela. His film, Bird flu, was telecasted on Doordarshan. His film, Aazhangal, won the Best film award at Bimbam International Short film festival in 2010. Therefore, we and In conversation with god also won the award for the same. Mony won the Best Editor for his film Wings of Fire, and his achievements don’t seem to stop.
