Binu Sasidharan

Binu Sasidharan is an Indian Filmmaker. He was born on the 17th of November , 1976. He is mainly known for his splendid work in the Malayalam Film Industry. He is a key personality in the Indian Animation Industry. With not many people dedicating their efforts to this field , he has inspired a breeze of change and many young artists have followed. He was born in Kerala’s small district Ernakulam District, more precisely in Desam, Aluva . He completed his schooling and graduation in the same state. He got his post graduation degree from Sree Sankara College, Kalady , 1999 in the major subject of commerce. After completing his studies in 1999, Binu started working as a freelance animator and designer.

He has also worked as a Guest web tutor. This was for the short film at Union Christian College, Aluva in 2002. In the year 2004, he joined a United States based MNC. He took up a job of a Graphic Designer and worked there for roughly a year . Following which he started his company, an animation studio called Wireframe animation. He initiated the company in his hometown. At the same time to be more creative , he started working as an independent Creative Consultant. His career which has now spanned for about fourteen years, he has worked in multiple platforms for Films, Television and Advertising.

His most popular feature film was Once Upon a Time which was released in 2013. It is credited for being the first full-length animated feature film in Malayalam Cinema as it ranger for about 100 minutes . Earlier on , Binu’s inspiration was a home video called CID Moosa 007 from which he adapted the animated version of the video called CID Moosa. Recently, he has been attributed for making Malayalam’s first animated 3D stereoscopic video for home theaters. This feature was called Kuttichathan. In the year 2009, he made two comedy movies called Kaineettam and Vithugunam Noorugunam. He made these movies for the Vegetable and Fruit Council to promote fruits and vegetables. The year 2011 saw the release of Kuttichathan , followed by another hit Kuttipattlam. The latter was a patriotic home video animation especially made for kids . It came out in 2012. In the 2013, saw the launch of Once Upon a Time which garnered maximum success. In the year 2014, he worked on a film called Ithihasa ,which was released in the same year.
