Hafiz Shamsudeen is a creative director and producer from Kerala who works primarily for Malayalam and Tamil television shows. The director-cum-producer pursued his studies at Vidyodaya School. While studying there, Shamsudeen was active in extra-curricular activities like dramatics, scouting, and camping.
While at school, he participated in mono-act plays and mimicry and was also awarded the title of Best Actor and Later, in 2002, he pursued a bachelor’s in business administration at the Madras Christian College and, at the same time, also participated in activities like clay modeling, graffiti painting, and t-shirt designing.
After graduating from the Madras Christian College, Hafiz earned a two-year diploma in mass communication/media studies at the Asian School of Media Studies. Simultaneously, the creative director was also involved in film making, documentary-making, and advertisements at the college.
On completing his studies, in 2007, Shamsudeen worked with Miditech for about a year and a half. During his stint with the production company, he worked for the children’s show Galli Galli Sim Sim, co-produced by Miditech.

The show focused on child development through educational and entertaining episodes. Hafiz worked as an assistant producer, looking after the shooting, props, sets, and production.
Later, he served as an assistant producer for another show Gyan Guru Gyan Guru was a TV quiz show which was first broad >> Read More... , whereby he oversaw the shooting, sets, and production work. The show was a television platform for students to enhance their knowledge and skills, supplemented by notes, tips, and sample papers, to score well in exams.
While working with the same company, he was the assistant director for the fiction show Kyunki Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai, aired on Doordarshan. The series was an initiative by UNICEF, based on its Facts for Life, to ensure healthy living among the citizens. Shamsudeen was responsible for planning, shooting, arrangement of props, and actors retention for the series.
In 2008, he joined Endemol Shine India as a studio director and story editor. In 2009, he joined Blood Orange Media as an associate director involved in production and post-production. He supervised the documentary Jugaad, where he oversaw the shooting, scheduling, editing, dubbing, scripting, color correction, and final touch-up of the flick.
Later, he worked as a producer with Sol Production Pvt. Ltd., casting for the show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, which featured Rakhi Sawant Rakhi Sawant, the well-known drama queen of the In >> Read More... as a prospective bride.
