Littil Swayamp

Littil Swayamp Paul is an Indian film cinematographer, actor, director, and editor who has worked predominantly in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in 1990 in Sharjah (UAE) and raised in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His mother died when he was just six years old. He and his two elder siblings were raised by his father. He studied at Symbiosis Institute of Design but later dropped out of the course because the pace of learning and speed of work were much slower there compared to working in the industry. He also studied audio engineering at Musicians Institute, where he learned the intricacies of sound, which helped him to be a better storyteller. Littil also knows the basics of guitar, learned dance, and is always keen to learn new things. He believes in challenging oneself.

Littil, at the beginning of his career, worked in a comic company called Tinkle & Amar Chithra Katha. He also worked on the music video One for  Thaikkudam Bridge’s Navarasam in 2015, which had gone viral. His hard work paid off, and he made his debut as a cinematographer in the 2017 film Parava, which was a big hit. He also worked in  Varathan(2018) and Koode(2018).  Littil has also acted in ads for RadioOne, 7up, TVS Sport, Maruti, and Micromax, but says that he prefers to be behind the camera. Littil hasn’t stopped after that and has established himself as a renowned cinematographer, editor, and director. He also runs his own company, Littil Works.
