Shilpa Bala

Shilpa Bala is a Mollywood actress from Kanjangad of Kasargode district. Her father is Balagopal, a Bank employee and her mother’s name is Induleka, she even has a sister named Shweta. Shilpa was raised in Dubai, and she got her primary as well as secondary education at Indian High School, Dubai. Her mother is a trained classical dancer who works at a private institute in Dubai. As mother Shilpa also learned classical dance when she was four yrs old and even performed in many dance programs and functions for which she had been appreciated a lot and even received awards among which ‘’Kalathilakam Pattam" was one which she received at Arabia Youth Festival in 2005. Not only classical dance but Shilpa even learned Classical music which means being a fabulous dancer she is a great singer too.

Shilpa proved her versatility by also being good at mono acting, public speaking, light music, etc. Shilpa Bala started her career in Television channels. Shilpa Bala, the little twinkling star entered the film industry in the year 2009 through the movie "Orkkukka Vallapozhum", the directorial debut of Sohanlal. She was the heroine and had to play the double role. The veteran actor Tilakan played the lead male role. Shilpa has said in an interview that it was a herculean task to act in this movie. Particularly it was difficult to act with the most senior artist of the Malayalam film industry. The director Sohanlal has commented that Shilpa is 100% committed and dedicated. Shilpa Bala got her life partner and got engaged to a doctor of Thiruvananthapuram, Vishnu Gopal on 27th November at Thiruvananthapuram’s famous Hotel Al Saj. Many big actors, actresses & singers made their presence at the auspicious ceremony. It was a star-studded ceremony. The marriage of such a star will be at her Native’s place Kanhagad on 18th August.
