Tarique Hameed is a famous Indian personality who has developed himself into an actor and theatre director. He has worked for a few naming movies like Oraalppokkam, released in 2014. He is a theatre practitioner who works for Wings Cultural Society and is the known director of the theatre. Tarique Hameed has directed many plays while being at the theatre, and the plays include The Wave, Ek Kutte Ki Kahaani, Gandhi Park, Mahabhoj and Pratibim Sara ka Saara Aasmaan, The Birth of Dreamers, etc. One of his plays, "The Wave", participated in Asia's most prominent theatre festival 'Bharat Rang Mahotsav.' Tarique Hameed has also been honoured with the Young Theatre Director's Award at Yuva Natya Samaroh. He conducts workshops and encourages various students to participate in theatres.
