Born on 24th August 1989 in Kozhikode, Kerala, Jitin Puthanchery is a writer, actor, and assistant director in the Indian film industry. He has worked prominently in the Malayalam film industry. He is the son of the famous Malayalam lyricist and poet Mr. Girish Puthenchery. Jitin completed his primary education at St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School in Kolkata, and graduated from Bangalore University. He is married to Divya Mohanan. Jitin made his debut in Mollywood as an associate director in 2013 on the film Breaking News Live. Later on, he went on to work on many Malayalam and Hindi language films.
